  • Mr. Joseph Tom is a dedicated zoologist and research scholar at ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (ICAR-CTCRI), Thiruvananthapuram, specializing in bioactive compounds and sustainable biotechnologies.

  • He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Zoology from S.B. College, Changanacherry, and has cleared the UGC-CSIR NET and JRF, affirming his academic merit.

  • His research centers on isolating bioactive compounds from cassava to combat ectoparasites in birds and animals, with promising implications in veterinary health.

  • Joseph is actively involved in toxicology studies, cell culture research, and the development of natural biopesticides like Nanma, Memna, and Shreya.

  • He has also contributed to biofuel and biogas innovations using cassava, pushing the frontier of green energy solutions.

  • As a guest lecturer at S.B. College, he shares his expertise while publishing scientific work and presenting at national conferences.
