Benny Joseph is a veteran educational leader with over 30 years of experience in transforming schools into Centres of Excellence across India.
He has held several senior roles in the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), including Principal, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and national-level academic coordinator.
As Principal of JNV Idukki (2006–2016), he consistently steered the school to top national rankings through strategic academic leadership and innovation.
In 2019, under his leadership, JNV Chikmaglur achieved an all-time national record average of 90.58% in AISSCE, showcasing his capacity to drive systemic excellence.
He was honored with prestigious awards including the Air India BOLT Award (2008), British Council Global Teacher Award (2013), and National Best Principal Award (2015).
