Dr. E.K. Radhakrishnan is a renowned academic, innovation strategist, and researcher, currently serving as Associate Professor at the School of Biosciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology and completed a prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Biology at the University of Tokyo, Japan.
Dr. Radhakrishnan also earned his M.Sc. in Microbiology with First Rank from Mahatma Gandhi University, setting the foundation for his dynamic career in biosciences and translational research.
He serves as the Hon. Director of the Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC) at MGU, where he mentors startups and nurtures entrepreneurial ecosystems.
He plays a key leadership role in promoting organic farming as Joint Director of the Inter University Centre for Organic Farming and Sustainable Agriculture (IUCOFSA).
As Director of the Dr. N. Radhakrishnan Foundation for Medical Innovation, he leads transformative initiatives in biomedical innovation.
He also directs the Industry Academia Interface Centre (IAIC), actively bridging the gap between research and industrial applications.
Dr. Radhakrishnan contributes to multiple strategic platforms, including MGU Innovation Foundation, IEDC (Kerala Startup Mission), IUCBR-SSH, and CoE-KISTI, spearheading collaborative efforts in science, technology, and entrepreneurship across Kerala.
